Web Developer Freelance Jobs

A web developer is a software developer or software engineer who is specifically engaged in the development of World Wide Web applications, or distributed network applications that are run over the HTTP protocol from a web server to a web browser.

Web development can be split into areas: front-end and backend developers. These roles can either be independent of each other or seen as one role.

As a web developer, you will be responsible, often for the architecture and then development of the websites through to deployment. You will work extremely closely with the designers and account management to ensure the synergy of the project.

You will possess either all or a selection of the following skills: PHP, .Net, Classic ASP, MySQL, SQL Server, XHTML, HTML, CSS, Ajax, JavaScript and an abundance of any other relevant skills.
